Hi, I'm Jeff Taylor co-owner of Soulful Sounds.
I was a teenager living in New York City when hip-hop music began to take off in the 1980s. It was then that I discovered my passion for music. As word began to spread and I booked more events, I realized that I could make a living doing this.
"Music has immense power and I want people to experience that power. That's the whole design. I want music to move souls, create joy, and uplift spirits.
The music I play, connects people across cultures, backgrounds, and generations. Being a DJ creates an energetic, fun, and comfortable atmosphere that will have everyone talking about your event for years to come."
In 1998, I took the leap and founded my DJ and mobile entertainment company. Here at Soulful Sounds, we provide DJ's, MCs, music, lighting, audio-visual sound, microphones, photo booths, cold sparks & more.
Today, Soulful Sounds is proud to be one of the most sought-after Entertainment DJ's in the NY Tri-State Area, Long Island, Charlotte & surrounding areas, thanks to our loyal clientele.
